    Hi Gat ! :-) Jorlan's original puzzle is interesting and, like you, it made me want to optimise it. However, I think that our two proposals can find similar solutions, as the location of the green door doesn't seem to be decisive...

      @Malice: Hi Malice, I originally had a large step count discrepancy between this puzzle and your puzzle. Upon seeing your equivalent step counts for both puzzles I then knew it was not because of the green door placement.

      @Gat: I seem to remember that my wrong placement of the green door wasn't a strategic choice but just a copying error! So your new version is tighter and cleaner. Congrats!
