    I'm really curious what the 66 step solution is. The only way i can think of solving this would just be to write up a set of different moves which give a permutation of the original position and string them together in the right way to get the desired result like a Rubik's cube.

      @zestyorangez: That might be possible, due to the very small layout. Theres only a few positions and a few portal gimmicks possible (that dont make a 2x2 cube rendering the puzzle impossible) so, if you tried, you could find a way to compute a layout like this.
